The Regis Alumni Basketball League began its 2012 Season in late February. This year's league includes 18 teams, with 1984 representing the most seasoned veterans and 2007 taking on the role of this year's rookie team. While younger teams tend to have the advantage in most head-to-head match-ups, the veterans have remained competitive. Most notably, 1986 turned in a solid performance in a victory over 2002, and the 1988/1989 team almost edged out 2007 in a thrilling down-to-the-wire game, which they ultimately lost 51-48.
